What is the Third Leprechaun's Efficiency?

It may be said that Leprechaun 3 is both superior than Leprechaun 1 and 2, as well as inferior to Leprechaun 2.

Its success may be attributed to the fact that it has a horrible first act that is nevertheless enjoyable. Mark Jones, with the exception of the Leprechaun, is incapable of writing believable dialogue.

As the young college student, the actor John Gatins, who played Scott McCoy, was burdened with some of the least believable lines in the history of the world. I felt awful for him. It was quite difficult to watch.

Once Scott is infected by the Leprechaun's blood, the plot shifts and the rest of the movie is pure fun.

One of the wonderful things is that this time around, Warwick Davis gets to say practically all of his speech in rhyme, and at points in the second act, he's downright comical. Another cool thing is that this time around, the audience gets to hear the play.

Davis is (blog post) the only reason to see these films; without him, they would be tedious. The Leprechaun have a crushing attraction that is simply simple fun to see when he is around him.
